lucky #13, lucky #7

The Charles was good to us again this year. Thirteenth out of the shoot, the Hooch Pirates moved down the course with a purpose. We cruised through MIT - on their home course no less - and then gunned down Nereid. Cal Berkeley took a bit more time and made for a more exciting race, but in the end they too were forced to yield.

We came in 7 out of 17. We clocked in 1:36 faster than our imaginary training rivals N.C. State. We beat out two formidable Canadian crews. We came within 5 second of Princeton. We took down last year's winner Radcliffe.

It was a good race.
